  • Coaches will organize rides , kids, and announce lake/river that night.
  • We will travel to a local lake and fish (Wright/Sherburne County)
  • Pick-Up at High School following.  Typically 9:30 - 10:00pm depending on distance of lake and how they are biting!

WE NEED BOATS

Kids / Parents / Coaches are encouraged to bring a boat if you have one!  Any boat!

We encourage everyone to come fish and learn with us on these local nights.  These are no pressure, laid back fishing and fun nights.  We need a multitude of experience and help to provide the opportunity to get our kids on the water.    All of our coaching staff are here to help, but coaches are not "Guides".  They are volunteers spending their valuable time and resources helping.    At times, we may have openings in boats and parents are encouraged to fish with other coaches to learn.

Thank You Coach!

As a High School team we are extremely fortunate to have volunteer coaches who help.  These coaches are dedicated to our team and want to teach students everything from the basics to more advanced techniques of Bass Fishing.  Coaches teach in the classroom and on the water.  Once fishing opener comes we want to do our best to get as many kids fishing as we can.   Thank you Coaches for volunteering!  We could not do it without you!

OUT OF RESPECT FOR OUR COACHES:

  • Show up on time
  • Come prepared
  • Clean up after yourself
  • KIDS: Always look for opportunities to help the coach. ex. loading/unloading, cleaning up boat, cleaning weeds off trailer!
  • If you have to cancel do so with plenty of advance notification as possible
  • No sunflower seeds in boats
  • No Colored Drinks in boats
  • Stay off your cellphone!
  • Ask questions and be engaging
